One of the most widely translated works in the world, available in more than 220 languages, The Little Prince is also included in school reading programmes and celebrates the 80th anniversary of its publication.
An aeroplane makes an emergency landing in the heart of the Sahara Desert after a mechanical failure. Suddenly, a charming golden-haired child appears with a very special request:
"Please... draw me a sheep!"
He is the Little Prince, who recounts his journey from planet to planet, sharing reflections and insights about the true values of life.

An unmissable production!
Note: Antoine de Saint-Exupéry first published The Little Prince in 1943. The story was inspired by his experiences as an aviator flying over the Sahara Desert in Africa while working for the French airmail service. Descended from an impoverished French aristocratic family, he died in 1944 while on an Allied reconnaissance mission over southern France, when his aircraft was shot down by a German fighter plane, one year after the book’s publication and before witnessing its worldwide success.
